What: Conditioning (running)
Who: Everyone (except winter athletes) planning on playing lacrosse. If you are not on the hockey, wrestling and basketball teams or a swimmer or a diver, you are expected to attend. Those working out with another sport are expected to attend.
Where: Hoover High School gym. Please enter through the doors located SW corner (teacher parking lot) of the gym. Please do not park in the teacher's lot.
When: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 5:55 AM. Doors open 5:45 AM. (We will also condition on Friday February 24th) The first work out will be Monday, January 30th. The running portion of conditioning will last 4 weeks and consist of 12 workouts. Your goal should be to attend 100% of the workouts.
Other Notes:
· Make sure you bring a clean, dry pair of athletic shoes to condition in. Please do not wear the shoes you are going to condition in to the high school. We do not want to track in snow and ice and make the floor dirty and slippery.
· Bring a change of clothes and everything you need to shower.
· Please do not eat a big breakfast. Eat something small and light. It will be an intense workout.
· Bring something to eat after conditioning. We are going to burn a lot of calories.
· We will no longer lift as a team. Make sure you continue to on your own or with your fall sport team.
Winter Weather Policy – If school is cancelled, conditioning is cancelled.
